Pie Crust Cinnamon Rolls
The holidays are right around the corner and I’m sure there will be many kitchens filled with sweet smelling pies. Making pies is one of my favorite holiday traditions, but here is a little secret- I don’t like pie! I make pies because my family loves them and my dad loves them.
What I do love is pie crust cinnamon rolls! These tasty treats are a favorite around my house and sometimes we even make them without making a pie!
- Pie Crust Dough (http://thehappyhousewife.com/pie-crust/)
- Butter (softened)
Whenever you are making pies save all the extra dough from the crust. If the dough is hard to work with put it in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up.
Take the extra pie crust dough and roll it out into a large rectangle about 1/8 inch thick. Spread butter all over the dough. Sprinkle cinnamon and white sugar all over the dough. Roll up and slice into 1 inch rolls. Bake on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve.
I promise these will be gone in a few minutes!
