Tell Us About Your Vacation/Staycation

18 August 2010 17 Comments

This was my first summer as a mom of two and it was definitely busier than ever! We took a series of weekend vacations- one of which was kid-free! Seeing a new place through the eyes of a child is so much fun. Yes, most of what I packed were diapers and children’s clothes, but I still found our trips very relaxing.

Did your family take a vacation this summer or did you have a staycation (vacation in your neighborhood)? Share your summer vacation photos on our Facebook Fan page or by emailing us at moms@newbornfree.com.

Fall is creeping up and soon this summer will only be a memory.

One person who shares their family vacation photo will win a Twist N’Pop Straw Cup, Trainer Cup, onesie, and tote bag.

Share this with your friends by clicking “Share” below or emailing them a link and let us know with a comment below “I shared!”.

Good luck!

We’ve done two weekend camping trips with our 3 month old daughter. She camps really well, couldn’t care less about where she is as long as she gets her bottle, her cuddle and has somewhere to sleep.

We live near the beach so every day is a staycation in the summer!

With 5 kids and 1 income vacations are not in our budget, however we do go visit grandparents for a few weekends, and get to go swimming with them. We also took our kids to several local tourists attractions this year. The kids really enjoyed seeing ducks and some older farming equipment and a working water wheel. It’s not the money that is spent its the time that is given!!!!!

We had a stay-cation this year! It was nice being home with the family and our furry kids, as well! Lots of time for walks and chats ans simply doing nothing but enjoying our time together! :)
