Since the economy crisis which effected the jobs of my hubby & I, we are struggling in getting ends meet money wise. We have a wonderful baby girl (Abby-8 months old) which brings joy and happiness into our lives. Im a first time mom and I love every second of it!!! Just looking at our baby girl and her huge smile we know that all will be just fine!! since I gave birth till now I didnt have even one minute to take care of myself. having no family here to help us babysit or money to splurge on babysitting or shopping i can tell you that
A “ornFree time out”will be a huge help and highly appreciated.
I never won anything in my life but Its always nice to dream about it. you need to have a dream in order for a dream to come true.
Always Remember: no matter what comes your way in life, thank g-d every day that you and your family are healthy! love, Michelle
I’ve been a fan of bornfree since Abby was born and I truly only use BornFree products!

I have twins who are almost 5 months…..good enough???
Thank g-d i am ALWAYS busy, but its not easy and very tiring! My husband travels alot for work so its very often just me taking care of them and my 7 yr old daughter. We don’t have family nearby so I rarely have help and getting a chance for some me time would be so amazing and rejuvenating so i have more energy to care for my babies!
oh and im already a fan on FB!
Im a facebook fan!
I’m a stay-at-home mom and enjoy every minute I get to spend with my two precious kids (ages 3 & 13 months). I’m constantly putting their needs above my own and rarely set aside time for myself. This is why I would love a BornFree Time Out in NYC. It would be a huge blessing! A healthy, happy mom is necessary to raise healthy, happy children.

I am already a FB Fan and Twitter Follower…I love BornFree products and use them all with my newborn son. I truly need a TimeOut as I have been struggling for the past few months to really have any time to myself since the birth of my son and to find a way to reconnect with my Husband. I hope I win and that I can really use this time to re-engage with myself and my non-mother life.

My husband and I have tried to conceive for 2 years when we finally had got our son. Only five months later to lose him due to incompetent cervix . so we had to try yet again and it was a whole year before we conceived our newest miracle! And in the mean time of all this economy is going so bad, bills are still behind from our first loss. however when our miracle arrived we were using playtex drop in liners since they were a hand me down. well liners are expensive and he wasn’t taking to it very well so i needed to do some research on bottles and found that born free was his best option! so despite our money problems we bought a couple bottles and he loved them, we loved them! I love them because the parts are interchangeable! They are GREAT! i just wish i could get him more!
I am a facebook fan and I have a six month old baby boy named Asher I have not been on a vacation since I delivered Asher and it would be great to have some Mommy time.
By the way Asher loves Born Free bottles it’s all we use
Thank you
I need a time out at BlogHer because I’ll be 9 months pregnant with my second child while there! I could use all the pampering I can get at that point, plus right now our AC is out at home and being this pregnant in the humidity and heat of Ohio is really a drag! I’ve liked you on Facebook and followed you on Twitter as well. Thanks, and pick me!
What a great contest!!! I’d love to win to help celebrate my 40th birthday but also because I’m tackling some big fears that have been holding me back for too long. What a great way to celebrate!!
Off to tweet this now and I’ve become a fan on FB.
Thank you!!
A BornFree Time Out in NYC would be AWESOME!! I gave birth to our first wonderful daughter Emma on January 29th this year. From birth our daughter had trouble feeding because she sucked way too much air down and couldn’t suck properly from her bottles which caused horrible gas and belly pains. Our poor baby could not sleep or rest at all for screaming with tummy pains. Finally after countless trips to the doctors and finally to the hospital everyone came to the conclusion that she has colic really bad!
Anyone that has had a baby with bad Colic knows the pain you also go through watching your baby in so much pain. The main doctor at the hospital told us about Bornfree bottles and how they helped her daughter with colic. We thought another bottle we have already got her on Avent and Dr.Brown’s could something else really work? After trying the Bornfree bottles after one day we really noticed a difference. She still has colic but is able to get the food she needs to survive. Thanks so much for being a big help!! Your bottles really are the best and I swear by them because they help her so much as compared to the many other bottles we have tried. It would be great to WIN the indulgence package…and get a pampering well over due!
I think every woman deserves a time out, whether they’re a mother or not. I don’t know if I deserve one more than anyone else, but man I’d love it. I barely get enough solo time to shave my legs, let alone enjoy a massage.

What mom doesn’t need a day off? I sure do! As a work-at-home-mom with two young kids, I am constantly pulled in 20 different directions. This would be a much needed and appreciated day to revive so I can continue to be the best mother and writer I can be.
The one thing I neglect (since having my daughter) is pampering myself…A spa day and dinner at the Russian Tea room is just what I need!

I am like any other mother on here I have 3 kids (ages 3 1/2, 1 1/2 and 2 months). I am not doing anything any other mother hasn’t done in regards to taking care of children full-time.
My differences start where I am working on my MBA (end last class in June and walk the line in August). I birthed 2 of my children while obtaining my degree in 2 years. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life and I will graduate with a 3.85! I am tired, but I am very proud of myself and would love to “treat” myself. My husband is in the Air Force and has been deployed many times in these 2 years. He is about to go to Afghanistan again the end of this year. So, while taking care of my children, running my blog, having a husband overseas for extended periods of time and working on my MBA, I am also about to start looking for a job.
I DESPERATELY need this and would love to treat my husband to such a wonderful dinner as well. He has never even been to New York and we are both really excited to see Ground 0 as that is the reason he was activated at the age of 19 (after 9/11).
This is such a great contest as we know how much we work on our sites. Good luck to everyone!

It’s pretty much my destiny to win this. I enjoy a spa day more than should be allowed by law.
Because I have been neglecting myself thoroughly for the past 5 years. Most days it is tough to remember if I brushed my hair.
Let’s be honest here, I don’t necessarily NEED this. I WANT this. It sounds like heaven, and seeing as I will be spending an extra few days in NYC getting a little me time in before heading home to the day-to-day rigmarole of parenting and playing chauffeur to 3 kids, a hubby and a pooch this sounds PERFECT!
i need to have a “BornFree Time Out in NYC” because as a almost single parent (hubby works overseas, came back once every few months), work around the clock with 2 demanding kids, I NEEDED a BREAK!

Why do I need this? Because I’m a parent, therefore exhausted and in total need of a me-centric indulgence that doesn’t involve wiping anyone’s tushy or negotiating with tiny terrorists. Doing it in NYC just makes it even that much more special.
I am a Mom/Step-Mom to 5 now 17 to 24 years of age… yes and they ALL are still at home. Add into the mix 2 dogs, 1 cat and a husband who is a nice guy – - but seems to panic whenever I think of doing something outside of the house; adds up to 6 times in 8 years I have left this house to do something other than run an errand, run one of the kids somewhere, grocery shopping, laundry, doctors, football or cheerleading games etc…
Those 5 times consist of – spending a night when my best friend had surgery (to help with her son), spending a night with that same friend when her mother died, going out to dinner with my daughter, Karaoke night (just last week), going to see one of my favorite authors (Debbie Macomber)at a book signing in Connecticut oh and meeting a dear bloggy friend (Coffee With The Mrs.) in NYC when she flew here for a bloggy event last month. YUP – that’s it. Sad I know….
I have never been to a spa before, I don’t shop for me – hardly ever! There is always something one of the kids needs….
I am going to BlogHer for the first time this year and couldn’t be more excited. I am eager to meet the actual people behind some of my favorite blogs and personalities! And even more importantly – my skype girls – a group of bloggy friends who have become like sisters – this will be our first time getting to see each other face to face (rather than on skype only). Eighty MPH Mom, Seeryus Mama, Giveaway Addict Mommy, Nut in a Nutshell, Mommas Review …. Jennifer, Sky, Kari, Elizabeth and Andrea…. I can hardly wait!
So why do I need this? I don’t know what ME time is.. *LOL* Life is only going to get more busy – one daughter is expecting her first baby come November, one son is entering the Marines come October, another daughter is leaving for Florida to go to school….
The time is NOW – ME TIME NOW!
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity…. how AWESOME for whomever the winner may be!
Ihad to go back to work and it is brutal. I commute 90 minutes per day and still have to fond time to do all the things I have to do at home. WOrk is insane and I just need a break,

The last six and a half years of my life have been pretty much non-stop child-focused, which I love, but I’ve recently come to the conclusion that I need to do more for myself. Making a happier, more well-rounded mommy can only make my family stronger and my kids more content, right?! I’ve actually never had a professional massage. It sounds silly but I’ll be turning 40 in November and it would be nice to be pampered a little. Plus, I’ve always loved the sound of the Russian Tea Room. I imagine gigantic samovars and fish with sour cream and borscht. Mmm! My paternal grandfather’s family emigrated from Russia at the turn of the century so I have a very romanticized Dr. Zhivago-esque impression of their roots in Kiev. I’d love to share dinner there with my BlogHer roomie, Kathleen from Katydid and Kid.
Did I mention that I used BornFree bottles and sippies for both of my kiddos?

I spend my time being a wife, mom, blogger and patient (I go to many doctor’s appointments every month besides lab visits, etc.). I love my family and being a blogger, but I don’t get to do much for myself. Even when I go to the salon, I have my daughter with me. I need a break and lots of pampering
There isn’t enough room on this site to explain all the reasons why I need a Born Free Time Out in NYC… However, the most important reason I would want to win is because I will be so stressed out having left my kids all the way across the country for the very first time for longer than a night. I have a 5yo and an almost 3yo and pretty much for the last 5 years (6 if you count the pregnancy) I have pampered, nursed, and take care of others – husband, kids… I even shop for all of them and rarely for me.
It would be delightful for once to be the center of attention, to let go and have others care for me. It would be heaven. That and a full night’s uninterrupted sleep… but I know that’s a pipe dream!
Like all moms, I balance all aspects of home life, plus throw in work and you’ve got a stressful situation. BlogHer is not only a chance to connect and learn, but it’s the one weekend a year that is all mine!

why would i need this? why? why? you ask why?
oh-em-gee! i am the crazy juggling mom of five kids and one grandbaby that i chase after and spoil while her mama finished school and works. when do i get to pamper myself? my hubs has been unemployed for 2 years now and i have been underemployed and on disability most of this year and with those hungry growing kids, a mortgage, a college tuition to pay for our circus clown #2 and a wedding to help pay for and plan for circus clown #1 would there be any left over for me? of course not.
i have scrimped and saved my extra pennies so i can get away for the very first time to NYC and BlogHer. A Bornfree Timeout in NYC would be the perfect cherry on top.

I did all of the above, fb, Twitter! I am a HUGE Fan of born free. Used them with my son and now we are using the sippie and he loves it! I am a stay at home mommy. I am blessed to be able to spend every waking moment with my son. Five yrs ago I was dignosed with rheumatoid arthritis, my pregnancy was rough but I got through it. I have a healthy happy 16 month old. I have good days and bad days but I do rverythig wthin me to get up and be able to take care of my son. My Hubby works full time and takes over on weekends when he’s home. I never ask for anything or take time for myself. So a nice spa getaway would be fantastic! I love being home but hey all of us mommies could use a spa getaway
I could use this because I haven’t had “me-time” in forever!
Love Born Free! I could really use this time out!
Why do I need a Time-Out in NYC? Thats easy! I will be 7 months pregnant while attending BlogHer and every Mama knows that heat+pregnancy do not mix well! Also, I am getting sponsored to go to BlogHer since my husband lost his job in December. Michigan’s economy is stinky right now and we don’t have any extra money.

I have a three year old, a full time job, a husband, and I’m currently training for my first 5K, that I will be doing at BlogHer. I’ve lost a lot of weight in the last year, I’m losing more, and I need new clothes!

What an amazing prize! I need the “time out” because I work 50 hours a week with rarely the opportunitiy for a break. When I’m home I’m spending it with my husband and awesome toddler, but there is little “me” time and we all need a little “me” time. It’s what keeps us sane.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Well, there are a bajillion moms (which I suppose translates to make 1000 some odd BlogHer attendees) who deserve this wonderful package — thanks for offering it! But I’ll toss my hat in the ring and share that I’d love to enjoy it because as a multi-business entrepreneur, the only way to fully get me to relax is if I’m trapped under hot stones, getting clogged pores extracted (weirdly, I find this relaxing…that must say something about me) or am getting my feet, hands, and hair tended to.
I also often forget to eat lunch when I’m working. So lunch would be pretty awesome too.
I need a time out because after 4 years of being pregnant or nursing, I need a break! This would be heavenly!!

I’m one of those people who takes care of everyone else’s needs before my own. Daughter, Husband, Mother, Sisters, Friends, Co-Workers, Neighbors – you name it. If they need something, I’m there. Unfortunately, after tending to all their needs, there isn’t much time left to tend to my own needs. I could really use a trip to NYC and time at the spa to relax and enjoy spending time with the one person that matters the most – me!

I’m so excited to go to NYC and BlogHer! I’m a midwestern mama, I live in the middle of Nebraska…it’s pretty safe to say that it’s quiet around here. I think I’d need the BornFree Time Out because I’m going to be overwhelmed! Meeting all new people and completely out of the environment that I know so well – I’m still excited, but nervous. Plus, who wouldn’t feel better with a hot stone massage? Heavenly!

I could use a time out because it’s been a busy school year
I’m heading to BlogHer a day early to spend the day with one of my oldest, dearest friends (we’re talking – dating back to junior high school). BlogHer is halfway between our 40th birthdays and this will be our celebration. I would love to share this wonderful prize with her!

I would love to win a time-out! Being a new mom and having both parents work full-time is exhausting! I’ve never been to NYC, but it’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit one day.

Mom of two beautiful children. Almost 4 and 5 month old boy. My husband and I are very hands on parents and have not been able to leave our children with anyone to take a vacation. We are so attached and only leave them of course with the babysitter on work days. I would love to have a pamper day. Lord knows that I don’t have much of those. Especially now with two kids in daycare it’s very hard to have luxuries. I love born free bottle for my 5 month old. I have been using them since he was born. They are the best! I am a fb fan of bornfree.
I need the time out because I will be getting ready for a year of PTA stuff for two schools ( my oldest sons) among making time to do mommy and me classes for the youngest two and throwing two baby showers and getting ready for two birthday parties. And then not to mention the reviews and blogs I keep up with. And the PtA stuff is referring to all of the volunteering I do for my sons teachers.

I have 2 girls, ages 4 months and 2 years old, both Born free babies. We absolutely love the products. I am a full time mom, work as a nurse on night shift full time (plus at least 1 overtime shift a week) to make ends meet. My husband travels with his job August-April, so those months I do everything myself, as my family lives over 3000 miles away. I would absolutely love a “Born free time out” and a chance to get away. I have not had a vacation away from the kids since the oldest baby was born. It would be a great stress reliever and reminder that you only live once-live it to the fullest.
I tweeted! I would love a day of pampering. All moms need one. Don’t we?
I am following you on twitter and retweeted too!
A day of pampering? I am an older mother running after a young child. I need all the papmpering I can get.
Wow! Why do I need a Born Free outing in NYC? Well for the past nearly 3 years I have been attached to Bornfree products via my children. I haven’t gotten a break from my children and BlogHer is going to be the first time I am getting away since my oldest was born.
Between not having clothes that fit anymore, and being so behind, I have turned into THAT frumpy Mom. Had my husband never been laid off, I wouldn’t be nearly as frumpy, but of course fashion and pampering are the first expenses out the window!
I hope I can at least qualify! It would be amazing to have a shopping spree!

Wow, this sounds… amazing! After spending day in and day out staying home with my 3-year-old and 1-year-old, I can barely remember what it’s like to be pampered. I haven’t even had a haircut since… well, it’s been months and months. I think the constant pressures of life can get to anyone and a little rest and relaxation would make an already-incredible BlogHer trip into a vacation of a lifetime!

Hi there-
I never get a chance to eat out anywhere nice without my kids either. For me pampering is more like eating a PBJ and getting a kiss on the check from my 2 year old
I absolutely love being a Mom, but I would love the opportunity to have some girly pampering time too! I’ve never a hot stone massage before, but it sounds dreamy! Thank for your having this competition, it gives me something to dream about even if I don’t win! Thanks!
I could soooo use a BornFree time out in NYC! I am currently pregnant with baby number 3 due in November. I have an almost 6 year old and a 2 year old at home and I work full time as a Kindergarten teacher. Lets just say that pampering and relaxation are not in my vocabulary these days, but I sure wish they were!
ps-I just became a fan on facebook too!

I take care of two extra children in the summer in addition to my three— and my husband works A LOT and travels a good bit. I would love to win! That would be a blast!!
Oh my goodness, I could so use this! I’ve never had a facial or a massage ever – or a pedicure. The only manicure I’ve had was on my wedding day 10 years ago. After a summer filled with chasing kids around, what a wonderful getaway this would be at BlogHer!

Hello ☺
I’m currently 3 days over my due date and truly believe that I should win the “Born Free Time-Out” in NY. Why do I think I should be the lucky one? Here is my story-Well I found out I was pregnant on October 1, 2009 which left me in shock! I was told that It would be very hard to conceive because of previous health problems and I was taking birth control religiously! I even had a reminder on my phone that went off every day at the same time to remind me to take my pill. I couldn’t believe the news at first, I sat with my dr. and we talked about how this could have happen? Well the only explanation she had for me was; In the beginning of September I had my wisdom teeth removed and I was on antibiotics which could have interfered with the birth control pills. I was in total shock and so confused even though my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and we are in a stable relationship, all I could think about is … OMG I’m only 23 , I’m still in college , I work full time how am I going to do this? What will our parents think?
Well 40 weeks and 3 days later I’m laying here on bed rest waiting for our little miracle to arrive. I’m still going to school (Just finished my Spring semester online), I managed to complete this semester on the deans list as I have been for the past 2 years, I’m still employed full time, my boyfriend and I do live together now which really has proved that a baby can cost a lot of money. I will continue to go to school, and work full time. Working isn’t an option because we need my health insurance for the baby and will need to pay for daycare, which will cost over $800 a month. Adding a baby onto my health insurance makes my pay check a lot less which also still needs to cover living expenses and school so it does not leave me with much money to treat myself.
Thankfully I had many generous people come to my baby shower who helped me purchase everything I needed. When researching what I was going to register for born free was the most recommended brand by everyone I talked to. I ended up registering for everything you can think of that born free offers and cannot wait to use everything with my little one.
I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, which is why abortion was not even an option for me. My mother had her tubes tied 5 years before conceiving me, so I think that this baby was a miracle just like I was. After all ive been through these past months and still doing so well in school and fighting to make the best out of this experience both physically and financially I would really, really appreciate it if I won the “Born Free Time-Out”.
Elisabeth
