21 April 2010 No Comment

On Tuesday, April 20th Rockland county (New York) legislature voted 16-0 to ban the sales of any baby drinking, feeding, or teething products that contain BPA!

“Legislator Alden Wolfe, D-Suffern, who co-sponsored the bill with Legislator Connie Coker, D-South Nyack, on Tuesday night cited numerous studies that concluded bisphenol A, or BPA, posed potential health risks.”BPA is a bad thing,” Wolfe said. “It’s harmful to children. It’s harmful to infants. It’s harmful to adults.”"

Many U.S. cities have banned BPA- in fact, baby bottles with BPA are banned in all of Canada!
